How to Set up Webhooks in Jira

Jira Software is a powerful project management and issue-tracking tool designed for agile teams. Setting Up Webhook in Jira

  1. Login to your Jira account as a user with the Administer Jira global permission.

  1. Then, choose the System option from the Jira Admin Settings section.

  1. Click on the Create a Webhook button.

  1. Provide the name to your webhook.

  1. Make sure that Status is Enabled.

  1. Copy the Webhook URL from the trigger flyout & paste it under the URL field.

  1. Now, you can select one or more events from the available options based on your needs. For example, Issue Created, as shown in the screenshot.
