How to Set up Webhooks in Baserow

Baserow is an open-source no-code database and Airtable alternative. Create your own database without technical experience. Our user-friendly no-code tool gives you the powers of a developer without leaving your browser.

In this article, we’ll understand how to set up webhooks in Baserow to receive notifications on a webhook URL.

Setting Up Webhook in Baserow

  1. Login to the Baserow account.
  1. On the side menu bar, click and open any table/view from the database where you want to set up a webhook.

  1. Click on the three dots icon in the top bar of the required view or table, then select the “Webhooks” option from the dropdown menu.

  1. Click on the “Create webhook” button.

  1. Enter the name of the webhook.

  1. Select the method as “POST”.

  1. Copy the webhook URL from the trigger flyout and paste it into the “URL” field.

  1. Now, check the event from the “Let me select individual events” section according to your trigger. For example, if you are setting up a webhook for the “Row Created” trigger, you need to check the “Rows are created” event in this section.

  1. You can also utilize the “Trigger test webhook” option to receive the test response directly on the trigger flyout.

  1. Click on ‘Save’.

That’s it! You have successfully added a webhook to your Baserow account.
