How to Set up Webhooks in AppDirect

AppDirect is a platform offering marketplace, billing, reseller, and distribution tools for cloud-based software and services. It enables businesses to efficiently sell, deliver, and manage digital products and subscriptions.

In this article, we’ll understand how to set up webhooks in AppDirect to receive notifications on a webhook URL.

Setting Up Webhook in AppDirect

1. Log in to your AppDirect account.

2. Click on ‘Settings’ in the top bar.

3. Then select ‘General’ from the dropdown menu.

4. Then navigate to Integration > Webhooks.

5. Click on the “+ New Webhook” button.

6. Copy the webhook URL from the trigger flyout and paste it into the “Webhook URL” field.

7. Now select an event from the “Event resource” dropdown according to your trigger. For instance, if you are setting up a webhook for the “Quote Added/Changed/Removed” trigger, then you should select the “Quote” event from the dropdown.

8. Now, check any or all of the boxes from the “Notify when event resource is” section to determine when you want to be notified about that specific event.

9. Click on the ‘Save’ button to save the webhook.

That’s it! You have successfully added a webhook to your AppDirect account.
