How Gray Futureproofed His Web Design Agency With OttoKit

Gray’s Smart Shortcut to Agency Efficiency

Meet Gray — the founder of Pages That Convert, a web design and digital marketing agency with a sharp focus on smart, scalable solutions.

Gray has built a reputation for helping businesses not only look great online but function like well-oiled machines behind the scenes.

As the demands of running a growing agency began piling up, Gray knew something had to change.

“I needed something reliable that could handle integrations across multiple sites and didn’t cost a fortune to scale,” Gray explained.

That’s when OttoKit (formerly SureTriggers) entered the picture.

We sat down with Gray to explore how OttoKit has become a game-changer for Pages That Convert.

Here’s what he had to say:

Q: What made you choose OttoKit over other platforms?

Gray: The lifetime deal with an installment payment plan was a no-brainer. It made OttoKit an affordable option right out of the gate.

More importantly, it’s scalable as our agency grows.

For a fast-moving agency like ours, that flexibility is crucial. We’re not just looking for features. We’re looking for cost-effective future-proofing.

Q: How has your experience been so far?

Gray: Very good. We’ve used OttoKit to set up cross-site automations that used to take hours, sometimes even custom dev work.

Now it’s just point and click.

Also, the customer support has been outstanding. It’s client-focused, responsive, and always ready with real solutions.

That’s rare, and we value it.

Q: Which features do you find the most useful for automating your workflows?

Gray: A few things stand out.

The integrations with WooCommerce, MemberPress, FluentCRM, and WordPress user management are excellent.

But what really blew us away was the ability to branch multiple actions from a single trigger.

That one feature alone has saved us so much time. Instead of stacking workflows or creating complicated daisy chains, we just map everything out clearly within one flow.

It’s efficient and elegant.

Q: Have you tried other automation platforms? What major difference did you notice?

Gray: We used Bit Integrations before. It worked, but it wasn’t as comprehensive, or as intuitive, as OttoKit.

With OttoKit, everything feels purpose-built for WordPress professionals. You’re not forcing a square peg into a round hole.

Q: Can you share a success story where OttoKit boosted productivity or business results?

Gray: Absolutely. One of our best examples is a client project for EasyFreelanceWriting.com.

You can check out the full project breakdown here on our portfolio – it shows how we combined a sleek eCommerce setup with OttoKit-powered automation behind the scenes.

We used OttoKit to completely automate their course sales and CRM processes. When a customer buys a product, OttoKit automatically updates their user status, tags them in FluentCRM, and triggers follow-up emails.

What used to take a team of people… now runs entirely on autopilot.

We avoided the need for custom coding and saved a ton of time and money using OttoKit’s built-in integrations.

The ROI from that one project alone has paid for our subscription multiple times over!

Q: How has your experience been with OttoKit customer support?

Gray: 5 stars, hands down. They’re quick to reply, always helpful, and really understand the use cases agencies like ours deal with.

You can tell the team cares and that’s reflected in the quality of their support.

Q: Looking ahead, how do you plan to use OttoKit to support your business?

Gray: The roadmap looks exciting and the team is consistently shipping updates.

We’ll continue using it to streamline project management, lead nurturing, and client onboarding. It’s become a central part of our toolkit.

It’s not just a “nice-to-have,” but a “must-have.”

When we build websites for clients, we now include OttoKit-powered automations as part of the value we offer. That’s a real differentiator for us.

Q: Any improvements or features you’d love to see in future updates?

Gray: Yes! A couple things:

  • Nifty (for project management) and Publer (for social media scheduling) would be amazing additions to the integration list.
  • I’d also love to see more educational content, especially YouTube tutorials and agency workflows. Pabbly has done a great job with this, and if OttoKit could match or exceed that, it would help a lot of us speed up implementation.

Right now, I sometimes find myself watching tutorials for other tools and reverse-engineering them for OttoKit. Having native walkthroughs would be a huge time-saver.

Q: On a scale of 1 to 10, how likely are you to recommend OttoKit?

Gray: A solid 10as long as the team keeps investing in the platform. It’s helped us become faster, more efficient, and more competitive in a crowded space.
