Unfortunately, both are different types of plans; hence, you cannot upgrade from annual to lifetime. You can purchase a new lifetime plan, and your annual plan credits will be there along with the lifetime plan.
Are self-hosted platforms more affordable than OttoKit lifetime?
Not at all, a self-hosted platform requires recurring charges to manage hosting/server fees. Plus, you will be the one responsible for security, backups, and compliance.
